Colchester Samaritans in the community

At Colchester Branch we have a team of volunteers who also take our work out into the community.
The work of our outreach team includes:

• School talks for both primary and secondary schools
• Talks to clubs, people at their workplace and groups of professionals
• Manning stands at events such as the Tendring Show and those held in Colchester’s Castle Park
• Providing training to other organisations and agencies in listening and communication skills
• Providing publicity and awareness materials
